We carry a lifelong love for this land, for it is here that our grandfather once walked, working tirelessly to create what we now call Sălcuța.

We are privileged to have grown, generation after generation, with a deep patriotic spirit rooted in our hearts — a sense of responsibility to honor our homeland and to craft wines that represent, above all, who we are, as well as our origins and our country. The founding of Sălcuța was, first and foremost, a moment of self‑discovery — a mission. It was the moment when Eugen Pîslaru understood his purpose in life and the tradition he would carry forward through the generations to come. This land is filled with memories born from senses, thoughts laid on paper, footsteps, and hard work.

When Sergiu Pîslaru stepped onto this land together with Cornelia Pîslaru, a love story was added to this place — the beginning of a family. When Dina and Titus arrived, they brought emotions, curiosity, innovative ideas, and the desire to carry forward, with devotion, years of work transformed into a vibrant passion. Sălcuța is not just part of our family — it is our family.

The winery shows continuous commitment to the local community by employing skilled workers from Sălcuța and the surrounding region. We are also proud to have contributed to the creation of the “Wine Vernissage” concept — a biannual event where all Moldovan wine producers present their finest wines to consumers. Sălcuța has supported one of Moldova’s most beautiful monasteries by providing tanks that ensured access to clean water for its facilities. The winery also plays an active role in the social life of the village, supporting local events and education, including various initiatives with the “Meșterul Manole” High School. We strongly believe that hardworking, beautiful people are what make our country unique. We strive to keep traditions alive and strengthen the spirit that makes us proud of who we are as a nation.
